We are so pleased to be able to offer this as an “in-person” event, our first since March 8, 2020. It will be quite different from those in the past. Due to CDC guidelines, entries will be limited to 210. We will have 7 wave starts with 5 minute intervals in between each start. We are also offering a Virtual Option for those of you who are not quite ready to participate in an “in-person” event. Once registration is open, it will be open to GBRC MEMBERS ONLY thru Aug 7th. Beginning Aug 8th registration will be open to ALL PARTICIPANTS, GBRC MEMBERS AS WELL AS NON MEMBERS. Registration closes Aug 18th, 11:59 PM.
This point-to-point, seven-mile trail race starts at Marine Park in south Bellingham and finishes at Larrabee State Park, the oldest state park in Washington. The course follows the legendary Interurban Trail, which threads through the Chuckanut Mountains and features gorgeous views of Chuckanut Bay and the San Juan Islands. All participants are encouraged to either run walk or find other means of transportation back to start line. If you choose, Baker Bus will be shuttling runners from the Finish back to the start. You will need to sign up for the shuttle during registration process. Due to CDC restrictions, buses will operate at 50% capacity. Shuttle service will begin when buses are at capacity and will continue until all runners are transported back to the start.
